The south part of the Chemins du Soleil - Crossing the Alps by mountain bike, labeled by the French Cycling Federation - passes through Castellane.

This route uses the old Roman road that once linked Castellane to Moustiers through the mountains, passing through the hameau de Chasteuil and the plateau de Suech. During the descent to Rougon look up, you may see the vultures of the Verdon and the canyon below!
St-André les Alpes / Castellane

A section overlooking the lake of Castillon (possibility of swimming, beach 500 m from the col de Cheiron) through the isolated hameau de Courchons.
